After spending Friday and Saturday with my parents, I feel so refreshed and ready for a new week to begin. Visiting is always bittersweet, because it makes me so homesick, but I know that we are in the right place for this time of our lives, and it’s only for a short season!
Andrew is doing wonderfully in school this quarter (so far), and I am finally beginning to get used to working away from home. Going into it, I had no idea what an adjustment it would be. Every day is a little difficult, because I still miss my old job, but I still believe this new job was a gift from God, so I’m trying to complain about it less! (:
Bonnie’s nursery is coming together one little bit at a time, and it’s been so much fun! I just can’t wait for her to get here and see it for herself!
How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain? When I weighed in at the doctor’s office earlier in the week, I’d gained 10 pounds. Although I haven’t weighed since then, I’m guessing I’ve gained some since! It feels like I’m growing every day!
Maternity clothes? Yes, and I wear them almost exclusively. Although most of my non-maternity tops fit, I’m so much more comfortable in flowy, stretchy maternity tops.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep: So much better this week than last!
Best moment this week: Our ultrasound earlier in the week. And getting to see my parents over the weekend!
Miss anything? SUNSHINE. It’s been such a dark, cold, wet winter. And I also miss not feeling frumpy.
Movement: I feel her every day. It is the neatest thing.
Food cravings: I was craving Chinese food for days (which is super strange) and finally caved. I’m glad I gave in so that I can finally forget about Chinese food and move on with my life. (:
Anything making you feel queasy or sick: Nope. I feel great overall!
Gender: She’s a GIRL!!!
Labor signs: Nope.
Symptoms: Leg cramps at night, no matter how much I stretch before bedtime. And my face is breaking out some.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding ring on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy, happy, happy!
Looking forward to: Andrew’s starting and FINISHING his midterms… I’m excited to get them out of the way.
What’s Going on With Baby:
- Bonnie is about 10.5 inches long, from head to toe… the size of a spaghetti squash, or about the length of a carrot.
- She weighs around 12 ounces!
- She can open and close her eyes.
In Other News:
The blog will be going through a redesign this week, so there may be certain links or pages that are dysfunction over the next day or two, but I’ll work out the kinks as quickly and smoothly as possible. Please be patient with me! (:
