TWELVE DAYS. Twelve days until Bonnie and I move back to Nashville. After being in Atlanta for nearly 14,000 days, twelve days seem like nothing. I can hardly wrap my mind around the idea that, after nearly 1,500 days of being away from home and missing it like crazy, we are this close to moving back. Even though Bonnie’s and my time remaining here is short, Andrew will be here an extra two and a half weeks, and still has a lot of big things to check off his list before he is home-free. So if you think of it, please keep him specifically in your prayers. He has a lot riding on the next month. We all do.
I’m 23 weeks pregnant today, but feel like I should be farther along. Time is passing so quickly, but physically I feel more pregnant now than I did at this point with Bonnie… Not sure that I’m wording that in a way that makes any sense or not.
How far along? 23 weeks
Total weight gain? I haven’t weighed since 20 weeks, and will not weigh again until next week, so I’m not exactly sure.
Maternity clothes? Yes. I noticed this week that even my [non-maternity] yoga pants are getting a bit snug.
Stretch marks? No.
Sleep? Not great, but not awful either.
Best moment this week? Reserving our moving van!!!
Miss anything? I still miss sleeping on my stomach and back.
Movement? Yes! She moves so much, and I can’t get enough!
Food cravings? Jimmy John’s subs.
Anything making you feel sick or queasy? I think I ate one too many pieces of Valentines day sweets. Last week’s sweet tooth is officially gone, and I never want to look at another piece of candy. Or chocolate. But I’m sure I’ll change my tune in a week or two!
Labor signs? None.
Symptoms? Really itchy skin on my belly this week.
Belly button in or out? In.
Wedding ring on or off? On.
Happy or moody most of the time? Really happy this week! I did have one meltdown when my favorite pajama pants were still wet in the dryer when I was ready to get dressed for bed. I think this was lack-of-sleep induced.
Looking forward to: Finishing two final painting projects before we move. One is a bookshelf for the new nursery (that I got for free in a trade) and a table/chairs set of Bonnie’s that I’m almost done with now.
What’s Going on with Baby:
- She is only a tiny bit bigger than last week.
- By the month’s end she will be double the weight she is now!
- Her lungs are rapidly developing.
- Her face is fully formed!
- She listens to sounds outside the womb.
