I am so excited. Our FET is definitely happening on Monday. I can hardly believe how few speed bumps we’ve encountered this time around, comparatively speaking. At each appointment along the way I’d prepared for bad news, and we never got any (minus the polyps, and the low estrogen levels.)
Yesterday’s appointment was uneventful, in a good way. My estrogen levels are now high enough to proceed, my ovaries are small and cyst-free, and my lining is 9mm thick, which is thicker than it’s ever been before.
Tonight will be my last night of Lupron injections, and tomorrow I’ll start Progesterone injections. I will continue with the five Estradiol tablets per day and the Progesterone injections until I’m ten weeks pregnant, and Metformin through twelve weeks pregnant.
I’m hoping the next six weeks will pass quickly. We have a busy week ahead, and then a busy weekend planned. Andrew’s parents are coming to visit Bonnie on Thursday, Andrew and I have a chiropractic seminar to attend Friday night and Saturday morning, and we may go to the aquarium with Bonnie after her nap on Saturday. After church on Sunday, I will head to the grocery store to stock up before the transfer. The last thing I want is to be stressed about what we’re going to eat the week of the transfer. Once I get it together, I will share my meal plan for the week after transfer.
My mom is arriving Sunday night and will watch Bonnie during the transfer Monday, and stay a few days after as well, so that is something else we get to look forward to!
