In preparation for Friday’s Valentines Day giveaway, I thought it would be fun to highlight some cute Valentines Day gifts I’m come across recently. Ones that don’t involve candy.
I love chocolate as much as the next gal. In all honesty, I probably love all sweets more than your average gal. Unfortunately, I’ve been that way for as long as I can remember.
The crazy thing about sweets is that the more you avoid them, the less you want them, and the more you eat them, the more you want to eat even more of them! Andrew and I have done really well with our eating habits, particularly since the new year began, and I hate to let a holiday like Valentines Day derail us.
These sweet (and free) Valentines from Jones Design Company are super cute:
Here are some precious, handmade valentines that incorporate a beautiful passage of Scripture. These were made by a friend, for her kindergarten class. She shared this photo on her Facebook page, and the moment I saw it I had to ask her if I could share it with you all. It looks like she filled the baggies with some sort of Chex Mix, but you could fill them with whatever you want: trail mix, homemade goodies (I think homemade gummies would be really cute.) You could even fill them with something inedible.
I could not find the original source for the owl and Scripture printable, but you can find a printable version here.
These magnets are pretty unique, and if you wanted, you could easily make some like these on your own:
And finally, who doesn’t love a new bottle of nail polish, idea courtesy of The Crafted Sparrow!
Don’t forget to pop back in on Friday to see my Valentines Day gift to all of you! I’m partnering with Jessi, of Life Abundant Blog, and I could not be more excited about what we’ve put together for you!
